About Me
My musical journey has taken me across Europe, working with recording artists, touring with orchestras and playing sell-out concerts with successful pop bands.
I graduated from Leeds College of Music with BA Hons in Music, specializing in piano performance. It was a great grounding for good classical technique and understanding musical theory. However, alongside my classical training, I also played in groups of varied musical genres - big bands, folk groups, jazz trios, pop bands - a great way to become comfortable in all styles of music.
Having spent the last few years
playing popular music, touring
Germany with bands such as Sunrise
Avenue and Ich & Ich, I decided to
settle in Hamburg and focus again on
teaching.
Now, I very much enjoy living a more relaxed
life, teaching both young students and adult
students a little of what I have learnt from
working in the industry.
